So as soon as i heard the news that Lego where going to release a Simpsons House model i knew i would have to buy it.
The build took me about 8 hours in total over 4 days. There was so much detail in every room. I was surprised at how well it resembled the one that i had seen on TV pretty much all my life.
The set wasnt just the house, it was a lot more. There was plenty of other accessories that you see on the program as well. The car, mailbox, BBQ, skate ramp, sun loungers and many more.
The accessories didnt just stop outside. Inside was crammed with items like the famous sofa, piano, TV, beds, bookcases, dressing tables and more. Even the stairs looked brilliant.
The Minifigures that come with the set are different to the Minifigures that are available in the shops at the moment. Some of the facial expressions and outfits are different as well.
Once the downstairs was completed you could move on to the upstairs. The bedrooms where quite awkward to build as everything was really tight but it looked great when finished. Homer and Marges room actually slides off to let you view the downstairs once the full thing is finished.
I personally think it is one of the best Lego models ive built maybe because i could relate to it more from seeing it on TV. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.
