Ice Cream, Bowling, Geocaching & Someone very drunk!

It started late on saturday night. After going to the beach on saturday with @Cadab and Mikey I went home and stayed in as I knew I was taxi driver that night. My fare? @RebekahEsme. She was out with some of her old uni friends in York for an event called ‘Old Jons’. The idea is that everyone who has been to the uni over the years all meet up in York, go to the SU and get wasted, then go to more pubs and get wasted.

During the even before she got uncontrollably drunk I got a text which read ‘I can’t wait to see you at 3! Xx’ to which I was quite shocked at. 3AM?? I’ve never seen her drink past 1AM, but apparently she used to do it all the time. So that was my evening until I got a text off a mate inviting me to Yarm for a cheeky pint or two.

Today im wearing…Gray T-shirt

Today i went for the lazy boy look.

I picked up the same gray t-shirt off my bedroom floor i had on yesterday and put it on. I love this t-shirt as its really comfortable and brings out the colour of my eyes.

For my legs, i was feeling rather warm so decided to go for a pair of shirts. Man Utd away kit 09 where the ones of choice. Im not that keen on these shorts as they make my legs look pale but hey.

Black socks with football logos on the side where the choice for my feet. Although they are thin they keep my toes warm which is only a good thing.

I went for the XBL chain today. Feature a realistic xbox live wireless headset it really does make you look ‘down with those trumpets’.

New Job

So today i had my first day at my new place of work.

I got a transfer last week from ConocoPhillips to Heerema Hartlepool. I was over the moon with this as it meant i would be spending alot more time at home.

After working away from home for the last 2 and a half years its good to be able to go home every night and sleep in your own bed.

The new job is on an enhancement project for a rig which is out in the sea near great yarmouth. You may remember before when i was working at Heerema Hartlepool on another enhancement project for the buzzard.

This new one is alot smaller in size. I dont really know how long i will be on there but for the time being, im happy.

The only downfall is with being at home is im further away from my girlfriend. With her living in Doncaster, its not as close as i was before but im sure we will make it work!

Roseberry Topping

Yesterday me, becks and some friends decided to go for a nice refreshing walk up roseberry topping.

Roseberry Topping

Roseberry Topping is a distinctive hill on the border between North Yorkshire and the borough of Redcar and Cleveland, England. It is situated near Great Ayton and Newton under Roseberry. Its summit has a distinctive half-cone shape with a jagged cliff, which has led to many comparisons with the much higher Matterhorn in Switzerland. It forms a symbolic image of the area and featured as the logo for the now defunct Cleveland County.

At 1,049 feet (320 m), Roseberry Topping was traditionally thought to be the highest hill on the North York Moors;[2] however, the nearby Urra Moor is higher, at 1,490 feet (450 m). It offers views of Captain Cook’s Monument at Easby Moor and the monument at Eston Nab.

@Cadab, @JLBuckton, @KirstmCaldwell and Mikey all came up and joined us in our attempt to reach the peak.

We parked up outside of the main parking area, as they now charge for parking and anything over 2 hours is £4 which in my opinion is a rip off. It took us about an hour and a bit to get to the top which wasnt that bad, then we sat and chatted and took some pictures. We made our decent a different way, taking the steps at the back and then cutting accross a field of some sort back to the main route. The weather was great, bit windy and cold up the top but it was warmer when you where coming down.
